I was asked to participate in the #WalgreensMascaraDay campaign, sponsored by Revlon at Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own
April 30, 2017, this coming Sunday, is Revlon® Mascara Day at Walgreens, so mark your calendar ladies! What does that mean for you and I? It means that when you visit your local Walgreens store, you can BOGO for 50% any Revlon® product for a New Lash Look.
My favorite go-to products for a natural fresh look everyday are a light foundation or BB Cream, powder, a little bit of blush and mascara.
I have a slightly long eyelashes and I love enhancing them with mascara. For me, that's the easiest, most natural and prettiest way to go. My eyes don't work quite well with false eyelashes over a long period of time.
I've tried a few mascara brands before and recently got to try several of Revlon's mascara collection:
- Revlon Ultimate All-in-One™ Mascara (not shown)
- Revlon Volume + Length Magnified™ Mascara
- Revlon Super Length™ Mascara
- Revlon Ultra Volume™ Mascara
- Revlon Dramatic Definition™ Mascara
Each one of these produces a different look and here’s what each one of them can do:
-
For thicker, longer, lifted, and intensely defined lashes, use Revlon Ultimate All-in-One™ Mascara.
-
For massive volumized lashes, use Revlon Ultra Volume™ Mascara.
-
For long, lush lashes, use Revlon Super Length™ Mascara.
-
For mega volume and length, use Revlon Volume + Length Magnified™ Mascara.
-
For bold, clump-free lashes, use Revlon Dramatic Definition™ Mascara.
But the best part is that you don’t have to just use one to achieve the lash look you desire! Have you ever tried mixing and matching mascara? If you haven’t, this is the perfect time to do so, especially with the Revlon BOGO 50% going on this Sunday! You can get all 5 and experiment with your looks.
Now let’s try some Mascara Cocktail recipes!
-
For volume, length, and lush lashes, use:
Revlon Ultra Volume™ Mascara + Revlon Super Length™ Mascara
-
For bold, clump-free, long, and volumized lashes, use:
Revlon Dramatic Definition™ Mascara + Revlon Volume + Length Magnified™ Mascara
-
For thicker, lifted, lush, and clump-free look, use:
Revlon Ultimate All-in-One™ Mascara + Revlon Dramatic Definition™ Mascara.
Don’t be afraid to experiment with these 5 mascara variations. Each one is unique on its own but you can create the lash look that you put by mixing 2 or more of them together!
I personally love the Revlon Dramatic Definition™ Mascara by itself. It has Revlon Lash Separator Brush™ which has tiered bristles for defining and separating every lash. How many of you ladies hate it when your eye lashes clump?! Yes, me too! With the Revlon Dramatic Definition™ Mascara, your lashes become more defined and have more volume.
However, if you wish for a more subtle effect, I would go with the Revlon Ultra Volume™ Mascara. Don't get me wrong though. I say "subtle effect" but it still will give you the volume that you would want from a mascara. However, unlike the Revlon Dramatic Definition™, your lashes are evened out.
Since Revlon® at Walgreens is doing a BOGO 50% off on April 30, 2017, I do suggest purchasing all 5 of them and trying each one by one or mixing and matching! to create your own Revlon® Mascara Cocktailing!
The best outcome usually comes from combining 2 or 3 different ones!
Be sure to check out your local Walgreens this coming Sunday to avail of the BOGO 50% off on any Revlon® products for a New Lash Look.
