Holiday Beauty Look From HEB + Macbook Air and Kate Spade Giveaway

 

I don't often make a trip to our local HEB but when I did, I was so surprised at how pretty big their beauty section is and how much collection of cosmetics and other beauty items vary.

Since the holidays are coming up, I decided to create a holiday look. I don't normally put on a heavy make-up but thought that putting on some glittery hair spray and red lipstick for the holidays is just appropriate.

For this look, I used the following items which you can pick up from your local HEB:

Eyes:
1. Revlon Eyeshadow Palette in Rose Glow
2. NYX Natural Eyeshadow Palette
3. Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner
4. L'Oreal Voluminous Superstar Mascara

Lips:
Revlon Collection's Exclusive in Eva Red

Face:
Maybelline Master III by Face Studio Blush

Hair:
1. L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray
2. Joico Gold Dust Shimmer
3. Goody Bobby Pins

 

I decided to create a smokey look for the eyes. I used the Revlon eyeshadow color palette as the basic to give me that sorta pinkish basic. However, I blended it with the neutral colors from the NYX Natural eyeshadow palette and finished it up with the Revlon eyeliner and L'Oreal Voluminous Superstar. The Revlon eyeliner is pretty sticky. It's easy to apply but it's a bit hard to wash off. The good thing about it is that it lasts longer. However, it can also smudge easily so apply appropriately.

The Maybelline Maybelline Master III by Face Studio blush on is seriously the bomb. I love that it's a combination of different shades but it works perfectly for my skin as a blush. It's not my usual pinkish blush shade but I'm sold.

And red lipstick isn't really my thing. However, I'm loving this L'Oreal Collections Exclusive in Eva's Red.

The mascara that has become my favorite thus far  is this L'Oreal Voluminous Superstar. It's a two-step mascara. The first is the primer and the second is the actual mascara. These two steps make your lashes look longer and fuller.

And to complete the holiday look, I did a messy bun using some Goody bobby pins and used L'Oreal Elnett Satin hairspray to hold my hair and Joico Gold Dust shimmer to add some sparkles on my hair!
