When I hear the word "whimsical", view I think of something fairy-tale-ish…like tinkerbell, find tulle skirts, patient wands, sequins, bows, and pearls. The final trend challenge for Try This Trend series, in conjunction with U By Kotex's photo challenge on Facebook, is whimsical! How do you match "whimsical" with "wearable" and what I mean by that is something that you can still wear to perhaps a lunch date, an errand, a dinner…something! I didn't want to be whimsical on the streets and people would be looking at me like I'm going to a Halloween party, you know? Ha! Since my tulle skirt isn't as pluffy as I wanted it to be, I compensated with some whimsical accessories such as the pearl and bow belt and the long necklace.
