Travel Style Series 2: Nautical Shirt Dress + Jean Jacket

How about some nautical theme for traveling? I know that the nautical theme is endeared to many of us ladies because even though it’s more related to a manly profession, in fashion, it’s such a darling! And this “Sail Away” shirt dress, as it’s named by Sparrow Boutique, is not an exception. The best shirt dress I own so far. Granted, I really don’t own too many. It’s got side pockets and even though it’s not tight or body hugging, it’s still definitely flattering. You can wear it as is or style with a denim jacket or vest.

I’m sure it will be too hard not to notice my matchy-matchy red and white stripes wedges from Pink Basis. Honestly, it’s a love at first sight with these wedges. I knew that I have to match it with this shirt dress but I was worried it will be uncomfortable. Surprisingly, it’s one of the few comfortable wedges I could actually walk in without the possibility of breaking my ankles. Now I know many of you prefer to travel in flats but I also know that there are ladies out there who can’t necessarily walk in flats. I personally know someone. So in this style, you have the option to wear thong sandals, slip ons, or sneakers. You can actually also wear this style in flying.
