Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day and weekend! You know what I just realized? We are already in the middle of February! Didn’t we just celebrate the New Year’s? Crazy how time flies, I still get surprised each time I realize. Enough babbling and on to the outfit. Tulle skirts can be a little bit obsessing. The whimsical feminine feel of a simple tulle fabric turned into a circle skirt makes a woman feel almost like a princess when wearing it. If you’ve been following some fashion/style bloggers, I’m sure you’ve already seen quite a few wearing them and I am predicting that you’re going to see more of them this spring. You’ve seen me wear them quite a few times in a matter of two months and this is actually the third time. But this particular tulle skirt from The Girl That Loves is such a teaser, ha! Instead of having about 5 layers of tulle and a lining that lines up evenly with the rest of the fabrics, there’s only two or three layers I believe and the lining inside is short. It’s almost as if you have wrapped a tulle around a mini skirt. It may not be for everyday wear but definitely fantastic for a night out with friends or a hot date with your hubby or other half! It’s pretty flexible that you can wear it with a simple t-shirt, a dressy top, or do like what I did, a plaid. I’m thinking that it will even look great with a chambray shirt. To dress up, wear with sequins, to dress down, do what I did. I still had to put on a statement necklace though. It just adds a nice finishing touch. It’s not too casual, it’s not too dressy. It’s just like…right there. What do you think?

Lynne I am so glad I found your blog! You look amazing! Totes gorge!
I started wearing tulle skirts in my teens.
I would make them myself because they weren't readily available for purchase. They make a big statement. Every time I have worn one, unfailingly someone asks me where they can get one themselves.
I predict that any woman who has a deep love for fashion will wear one at least once in her life.
