Some of you might have seen it in the news but over the weekend, Houston has experienced a crazy storm that caused the city to be flooded and 2 lives taken. I've been in Houston for the past 8 years now and I've never seen a weather like it in Spring. My friends and I happened to be at the Houston Rockets vs The Golden State Warriors game last sunday night when the storm occured. Needless to say, we got stranded and didn't get to go home till around noon yesterday. I've never been stranded in my life so you can imagine how stuck I felt. But thankfully, I was with friends and we were all safe.
I said all of that to say, I do feel it is refreshing to see a comfortable summer outfit here on my blog. I love this matching Juicy Couture palm tree set from Kohl's. Ooooooo I absolutely love this outfit! You love the way you styled it, you look great! I wish it was still online, I totally would have scooped it up, considering I have this thing with palm-leaf prints these days! Also, I’ve lived in Houston for over 20 years and have never, ever seen anything as insane as that storm. It was really scary, and I’m glad that Tropical Storm Bill didn’t turn into another one of those!
