A lot of people think I’m a model because of what I do. I kinda laugh when people tell me I am such. First of all, I’m far from being a model. I’m short (5’3″ to be exact) and most definitely do not have the body to become one. That does not mean to say, of course, I haven’t wondered how it feels like to become one. Not necessarily a runway model. The Lord knows how many times I will be falling flat on my face walking on the runway with 5″ heels, ha! But I’ve often wondered how it feels like to be one of those clothing models in front of a blank backdrop with studio lights and umbrellas. I guess you could say that a girl can’t help but dream sometimes, you know?
Well, guess what? Lui Cardenas, one of the well-known photographers in El Paso, made my dream come true! He made me pose for him for a quick less than an hour shoot and made me feel like the model I’ve always wondered. To be in front of a photographer who’s shot real super models and beauty queens was a real honor. Very laid back, Lui still made the shoot such an enjoyable experience for me. Not only was this session done by a famous West Texas photographer, it’s also shot at the famous Loft Light Studio! What more can I ask for? You may be thinking if I’m wearing a dress from Guess in this shoot but I wasn’t. I know they carry one that has a similar print, but honestly, I think that this one from Shop at Image is not only cheaper but it’s also better. Although, I didn’t get to show it in this shoot, if you go to their website, you will see the cut outs in the back, which are pretty neat!

Even if you are not "model material," per se, it doesn't take away from the fact you are still one of the most beautiful women in the world. And there's nothing wrong with being a dreamer- only as long as we are well equipped (and a bit fortunate and lucky) to have those dreams come true.
As far as your modeling goes with this post, let me just say it like this- you get an A+ plus (and then some) for your work here. Beautiful dress and sandals.
