This past fall and this winter, I don’t believe that the military trend is as huge as it was a year or two ago. Maybe it’s just me. But you can usually tell what’s trending when most of the fashion bloggers or favorite celebrities you’re following are wearing pretty much the same style/trend. What’s interesting though is that although it’s not as huge, I have observed that the designers and/or apparel manufacturers have found ways to evolve the trend a little bit and put a twist and edge to it, just like this military jacket from Deb Shops that have sequined sleeves. How much more fab can it be? The sequins makes a manly piece such as this to a more feminine item. Actually, the whole outfit is a little bit on the manly side but accessorizing with jewelries is the key to making something feminine. In addition, when you’re wearing comfy and casual, you want a perfect handbag to match with your look and feel. In this case, I chose an entwined/braided hobo bag, available at Fuss Boutique. I bet it’s going to be your go-to handbag for anything casual. P.S.: Most items I featured here are currently on-sale. Check out the links above.
