Happy New Year my dear friends! Hope y'all had a wonderful holidays. Well, sovaldi we made it through 2015 and on to 2016. 2015 was such a great year for me overall and I don't know if I could ever find the words to express my gratitude for what the Lord has done. I'm truly excited at what He has in store for me for 2016 and I hope that you all feel the same way.
Just a little encouragement – if your 2015 wasn't as good as you had hoped it to be, keep you head held high and keep the faith. God is always good and He is faithful. You can be assured that He hasn't forgotten or forsaken you and He is about to do some wonderful things for you and your family this year!
Now on to the outfit. I personally love oversized cardigans or outerwear. They don't necessarily look sexy but they are ultra comfortable and they keep me warm and cozy. It's been really cold the past few days here in Houston (Talk about below 50s! That's cold for us!) and my oversized cardigans have helped me a lot. I especially love this one from Gentle Fawn. I love the color and the print. And as much as I hate the cold, I have grown to love winter fashion and the accessories that come with it. I've been living in this scarf from H&M and headband from Dynamic Asia. No doubt that they keep me cold!
Oh and if you're in the market for some great cowboy boots, I highly recommend Tecovas Boots. Why? Okay, so first let me tell you that I got my first cowboy boots a couple of years ago and thought they were the bomb until I walked in it. I went to a festival wearing it all day and my feet hurt like crazy. They were just hard! But these Tecovas booties are genuine leather so it's soft and gentle to your feet. Houston LIvestock and Rodeo is coming up in a few weeks here in Houston and I'm super excited to go. It's been awhile since I've gone and I'm definitely using these babies!
