Hello, hello, helllloooooo!!! I’m back my friends. How did your holidays go? As for me, I had a much needed break from blogging. Although, I didn’t really rest. For the past few days, my mom and I had just been cleaning up and organizing. It’s amazing how much stuff we can accumulate. Sometimes we keep things thinking we might still use them in the future only to realize that after a few years’ time, we have never used those things again. That’s basically the situation in our house. We dropped off about 6 big bags of goodies at Salvation Army over the weekend and will possibly drop more in the next couple of days.

Anyway, allow me to give you an update on Houston weather – as if you care. Ha! Can I just say…”Houston, we have a problem!” It’s really been cold and gloomy during the holidays. We had a rainy New Year’s Day but over the weekend, the sun finally came out so I was pretty happy.

What do you think of today’s outfit? This double breasted plaid coat from Deb Shops is so cozy and comfy. Another favorite of mine in this outfit is my “jeans” jeggings. They look like denim, don’t they? It’s pretty awesome, you should check it out.

The burgundy boots are probably not so hard to notice, right? I mean, how can you miss that? Honestly, I wasn’t sure how these were gonna play out in an outfit but I think they played out pretty well! The color actually looks a lot more muted in person.
