Today’s backdrop (location) sorta look old and historic in photos (but I don’t believe they are) and the outfit so happened to fit right in it. It’s as if we have planned it but in reality we didn’t. We were originally going to a specific spot in downtown but it turned out there is a festival and the location was closed so we were forced to find another one and we ended up here which worked out well.
Both the top and the skirt were from Chicwish, which specializes, in vintage-inspired and whimsical outfits for the modern girl. Recently, my eyes are being captured by light blue so when I saw this skirt, I had to have it. It’s very dainty and is super adorable in person. I decided to go semi-vintage stylin’ with it by pairing it with this long-sleeves top, which has got some great embroidered (or so it looked like?) details in the shoulders. Though the skirt is a bit shorter than how I’d like it to be, I made sure to look classy by picking a long-sleeves top to balance it out. Then comes these shoes from Diana Warner and they were as if she knew me and knew that someday I was going to put together an outfit like this….it’s just…it’s just a perfect match! They’re not the trendiest, fanciest shoes you will find, but they are so classy and so comfortable. The heels are just about right and the design is simple and feminine. And knowing me…you know I had to have some color, so I popped off the whole thing with this pink handbag from AMI Clubwear. I do see this outfit being worn at a brunch, church (maybe?), lunch date with your beau, or any special daytime occasion. Where would you wear this?
