Hello North Pole! Ha! Yes, stuff we Houstonians tend to over react with the cold. I remember last year when they said we're going to have a freezing temperature with some chance of ice – the schools were cancelled and the city was shut down! I kid you not. Did we actually get ice? Hmmm. We did, no rx on the plants. It's quite funny.

Anyway, so here's a fun and playful outfit. I like dressing up but honestly, I also love wearing casual and comfortable outfits like this. Especially when it's cold! I mean who wants to feel sexy when it's 30 degrees outside? I don't know about you but all I'd care about is to get myself warm the best I could. This whole outfit is a mix of two ends – budget and luxury. Deb Shops on the budget fashion side while the beanie and the scarf were from Lexington Company which is a luxury fashion and home goods brand. I really love these winter accessories from them – they are not the flimsy type. They are thick and cozy, will definitely serve its purpose of keeping you warm.

It's totally okay to mix budget and luxury fashion. I'm sure many of us ladies are already doing that. Speaking of which, have you guys already heard of this iPhone app called Shopular? This app is legitimately off the chain! It's the perfect companion while doing your holiday shopping. Basically, it's an app that tells you which of your favorite stores has promotions going on and it gives you or shows you any coupons if there are any.

So for example, since we're talking about Deb Shops here – if you happen to pass by a physical Deb Store, Shopular will alert you what Deb has going on currently. Deb Shops already have the most affordable prices on their junior and plus size apparel, shoes, and accessories. So imagine getting the scoop on any on-going promotions plus scoring some coupons if they have any!

The app picks up the stores nearby so it really gives you all the deals that are happening – not only in your favorite stores but also the other stores nearby. For example, I was driving by the Town Center near my house the other day. I wasn't even really shopping. All of a sudden, I get a notification from my Shopular app that there are certain deals/promotions going on. I mean, who doesn't want that? With all the heavy expenses involved during the holidays, you want every bang you can get for your buck so you might want to download Shopular so you don't miss out on any…like an extra cup of Starbucks maybe? Perhaps getting alerted of some giveaways for a $500 shopping spree is something that you'd like or just an extra 20% OFF at Macy's. You're welcome, says Shopular!
