What makes a maxi dress so great? Is it the material, find the print, pharmacy the embellishments if any, or the color maybe? I think it is a combination of all of these or just a variety of things. Ultimately, it really is in the eye of the beholder, isn't it? Oh, and of course the woman wearing it. *Wink* Remember what my friend Yves Saint Laurent once said? “Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.” Do you agree?

So what may be a great maxi for one may not be great for another. If there's something that catches your eye and you believe you can pull it off, go for it. Eventually, it's your confidence that will outshine the dress. Anyway, so this maxi from Shop September, isn't your regular daily maxi. Because of the sheer material and the gorgeous studs, not to mention the sexy side slits, it is better worn in a special occasion. But if you're the type to dress up everyday like it's a special occasion, then by all means, girl, go for it! Dressing it down with a pair of flat gladiators will do. Did you notice the lining is just half-way through? Ahhhh…just an additional points for sexiness! Since I see this as a special maxi dress, I decided to dress it up. Although it's kind of hard to see my sexy rose gold strappy heels from Shoozon7 here, I don't believe I could have picked a better pair to match it with. Because of the muted blue and peach colors in the dress, the rose gold is the perfect match.

Did you also catch a glimpse of the bracelet that I was wearing? If this maxi dress is the queen of all maxis, then that bracelet from Accessory Concierge is definitely the queen of all bracelets! A bold statement bracelet indeed.
