Happy Monday everyone! Who was in a food coma? I was for a bit after eating a ton of food at our Thanksgiving dinner with friends and family. I did have a good time though. Every Thanksgiving,  Christmas, and New Year, we gather at a family friend’s house – usually different each year. It’s always fun when there are 6-7 families that gather during the holidays.

Anyway, can you all believe it’s December? It seems as if it’s only been yesterday when January 2014 started, now we’re only 30 days away from 2015! So here’s the first outfit for December. While we had about 2 weeks or so of cold weather in Houston, it eventually warmed up to where we can finally wear a non-layered (or minimally-layered) outfit, like this one. I like this dress from She’s So Moxie because even though it’s nautical and seems like summery, you can style it in such a way it is fit for fall. The bottom part here is more like mustard in person.

Also – the scarf from Shold It I was wearing here is neat! Have you ever had a need to go somewhere and you wish you don’t have to bring a huge purse because all you need to carry with you is your money/debit card and your cell phone? I know I have. This Shold It scarf actually has a pocket and you can wear it several different ways. I obviously did a neck wrap here. Check out their Style Guide to see how you can style it.
