After about a couple of years of blogging, I realized that I haven’t really featured a local boutique. I know. Shame, shame! But I’m redeeming myself on today’s feature, ha!

Another confession: I hardly shop local and hardly know local shops. Sad but true. In the next few weeks though, I am determined to get to know more of the stores in my local area and I’m sure there are many awesome ones.

On today’s post, I’m wearing a sheer bow top and crochet skirt from 43 Peaches Boutique which is located in Pasadena, TX. They are about 20 minutes from where I live. Bow tops are another huge trend this summer but even if we’re heading into fall in just a few short weeks, this coral one I’m wearing will still not be out of style. Why? Because it’s dark coral and it’s not completely summery so you can still use it in fall. Just match it with a pair of boots or booties and leggings and jeans, then rock it! Of all the other pieces I’m wearing here though, one worthy of mentioning is my necklace, because it was handcrafted by a 90-something year old woman who is a friend of Ferrin, the owner of 43 Peaches. I thought it’s awesome that at her age she’s still doing something productive. How inspiring! If I ever lived to that age, I would want to do the same. *Smile*
