A lot of times it’s easy to get swayed in our buying habits when trends are so big. We often forget that most trends are just that…trends. They are often seasonal. If we keep buying seasonal or trendy items, before you knew it, we have a big fat wardrobe and a slim wallet. Do you agree?
I must admit that I am guilty of buying trendy items and it’s totally fine to do it every now and again. It doesn’t hurt to have that cute floral pastel blouse that you really love or those sexy gorgeous pants you saw at the store while passing by. However, purchasing a ton of trendy items is not being budget savvy.
Unless you have a big budget for a wardrobe on a monthly or quarterly basis, I suggest building up your wardrobe with clothing items that you can wear all year round and here are the basics.
