Hi Beautiful People! I'm so sorry if it seems that I went MIA again last week. For some reason, I've just been so tired lately that I just crash as soon as I get home from having dinner with my fiancé. Ohhh, speaking of fiancé…if you're following me on Instagram and/or Twitter, you've probably seen my post announcing that I'm engaged! I truly couldn't be any more excited. I've always wondered how it feels and I finally knew! More of that to come on another blog post.
For the meantime, here's a summer casual outfit. As we get deeper into the summer, we're definitely going to need more and more of shorts. I suggest getting at least one white pair of shorts. ASOS has different selections but I opted for a classic distressed denim pair. Also, since summer is usually very trendy when it comes to clothing items, you might also want to stock up on some tops that you can style different ways such as this Topshop Stripes Shirt and this one. You can style button down shirts with a pair of shorts, jeans, pencil skirt, midi, skater skirt and style it for work as well. It's very versatile in my opinion so if you can stock up on that with one or two, that will carry you through a few more seasons, even in fall, for layered styles.
And ladies, what's an outfit without accessories? There are dresses or clothing items that really don't need any and will look good with a very minimal or dainty accessories but a girl can't go wrong in accessorizing. Shoes, hats, bags, jewelries – all of that are a part of an outfit and the little details definitely add pizzazz.
My new favorite accessories are my new drawstring bag from Dolce Vita Handbags, panama hat from Dynamic Asia , and the super comfortable wedges from CAT Footwear.
I honestly didn't think that I would like a drawstring bag. It's usually not my style. However, I wanted to own one – because, other than the fact that this particular one from Dolce Vita has tassles, it's very trendy right now. The quality is super amazing and now it's my favorite bag! It's my go-to-bag, especially on the weekends.
And who would've thought that the company CATerpillar who makes tractors also make some great quality shoes? These wedges, I kid you not, are extremely light, stable, and comfortable. Most edges I own are quite heavy but this pair is something that you will definitely fall in love with.
