Texas heat in summer is no joke and in such weather conditions, dry skin is not uncommon. Having a strict and effective moisturizing skin care regimen is a must. Thankfully, I do have a fairly good skin, except that I do have an uneven tone in some areas in my face, which is really nothing that can’t be covered by make-up. I never had acne when I was a teenager because my pores are fine and I hardly ever break-out. I’d get a pimple or two, maybe twice a year or something. The only issue I have is the dryness in some areas, with my t-zone moderately oily, and like I said, unevenness.
I was offered an opportunity to try out Enza Essentials Skin Care. I received what seems to be their Complete Saturation System which consists of Saturation Cleanser, Saturation Toner, Saturation Aloe Scrub, and Saturation Herbal Creme. I was told that the system is formulated specifically for dry skin. Some of the main ingredients are milk protein and hyaluronic acid, which balance dehydrated skin while glycolic acid from natural sugars exfoliates dead cells. The line is permeated with nourishing natural oils and extracts from geranium, jasmine, lavender, rosemary, lotus, mandarin orange, aloe and soybean to invigorate skin and promote circulation and skin health, leaving you feeling fresh and looking younger.
They also added the Vitamin C creme and the Glycolic Serum, which according to them are anti-aging products. I also received their Advanced Protection SPF 30. Prior to sending me the system though, I was asked what type of issues I have with my skin and so they sent me these products to specifically address my skin issues. I thought that’s neat. If we only know what products to use that will perfectly match the needs of our skin, then we wouldn’t be wasting money and time in trying out several different products until we find what will work for us.
Included with the products is a regimen instructions for both morning and night. I must say though that I didn’t strictly follow this regimen throughout the course of my review because my skin tends to get bored with routines and it tends to get irritated when I use too much of something on it. For example, the direction below is to use the Saturation Cleanser twice in the morning and at night. I had to do it only once after 3 times of doing it twice because my skin started to complain. I don’t believe it’s hyper sensitive but it just doesn’t like routines too much.
The very first time that I ever used the system though, I noticed a significant difference in my skin. It’s so much brighter, more vibrant, and more moisturized. The Saturation Toner is one of my favorites. Honestly, I had already forgotten toner as part of my skin care regimen so when I used the Enza saturation toner for the first time, my skin loved it and it showed. Another favorites are the Vitamin C Creme and the Saturation Herbal Creme. My skin feels so soft and looks hydrated after applying these products. The Glygolic Serum feels a little tingly for me whenever I’d apply it for whatever reason but my skin does not show any signs of irritations at all. It is supposed to balance your skin and act as chemical exfoliant.
In conclusion, I believe that the Enza Saturation System is a good solution to address skin dryness issues. Overall, my skin’s hydration improved significantly. It did not address the unevenness of my skin tone though but it could very well be a totally different issue that I need to get checked. It’s really not obvious, I get I’m just self-conscious with it.
