Honestly, anything that has to do with teeth, like going to the dentist, isn’t necessarily my favorite. I mean, I LOVE brushing my teeth, but that’s about it. My teeth and gums are very sensitive so any attempt to whiten them hurts me. In fact, a few months ago, when I came back from my trip to the Philippines, I brought with me a home teeth-whitening system which my aunt bought for me, but I couldn’t continue with it because I didn’t like the feeling at all. The gel hurt my gums and teeth like craaazzzzy. That was my very first concern when I got a sample of the Nova White Go Kit. I accepted the opportunity to review it but I’m nervous to try it , although I knew it’s about time again to whiten my pearly whites.
Anyhow, so I began the process with Nova White by dipping the boil and bite trays in a hot water. The instructions I got said from 5 to 15 secs and I did 10 but the first tray I did it with shrank, so I was not able to use it. Maybe the water was too hot. I’m not sure what happened. For fear of losing the trays all together, I dipped the second one for 5 seconds but it didn’t really create the impressions much. I’m pretty sure I just didn’t do it right but it’s supposed to be easy. Anyway, since I was able to at least save one of the trays, I figured I’d used it one at a time, ha! So I did the upper teeth first.
There was a slight tolerable sting in between my teeth and gums when I first put the tray with the gel in but it went away after several minutes. Now, it depends on how sensitive your teeth are, you may or may not feel something like this. I had the gel in my mouth for about 3 hours. After the process, my teeth didn’t show any more symptoms of sensitivity. I was sold right there! I loved Nova White immediately. To me that’s important. Because if it hurt me really bad the first time, I’d be sure not to proceed to finishing the whole system. My teeth went a half a shade lighter (my teeth weren’t soooo yellow to begin with) with that first try and after the whole process it’s about a shade and a half lighter. Not bad! The price is also affordable at $54 for the Go Kit. It comes with a towel, a lip balm, a mouth spray, two boil and bite trays, case, and the gel syringes. This kit is for a quick whitening process, perfect for when you’re on the go. If your teeth needs an extensive and intensive whitening, check out their other products at www.novawhite.com. Remember ladies and gentlemen, pearly white teeth are fashionable!
