I’m back! I’m back! I’m finally back in the US! It’s been almost a month of travel overseas and as much as it was fun traveling, it’s also exhausting! So it’s great to be back home and I’m hoping to be in back in full blogging mode in the next few days and weeks as I recover from being sick.

We left in winter and I was hoping to come back to Texas and savor a beautiful spring weather…supposedly. Well lo and behold, I was surprised that we’re still getting 40 degrees temperature! What?! And I heard in some other places, it’s still snowing. You gotta be kidding! (Well, I know you’re not.) I know many of us are so ready for floral dresses and sandals! I tell you, I really enjoyed the tropical weather in the Philippines. But I want that here! NOW! (haha)

Well, enough ranting. The fact of the matter is hey that’s nature and there isn’t anything we can do about it but make the best of it. If we have to wear floral dress and boots in spring, bring it! (Wait, did I really mean that?) Anyway, we shot this outfit prior to my vacation. It was also chilly then but I knew that spring is ahead and pastels and neons are coming back so why not put those two trends together and see how it comes out? After all, fashion does take experimenting sometimes. You be the judge how it turned out! I must say I like it though. *Wink*
