How you doin' folks? It's rare these days that I am able to post 2 consecutive days, after being sick for a while. Not to mention that it's been raining a lot in Houston too and the days that aren't raining, I'm not able to shoot. But such is life. We constantly have to make adjustments.
Anyway today's look is definitely work-friendly. Although I don't believe CAbi's Perfect T-Dress is meant for work but more for play. Yet that's the great thing about it. It's something that you can both use for work and the beach or casual brunch with your girlfriends or errands day with your beau. For this post though, I decided to go for a work-friendly look since I don't always get to do that. I think wearing something for work – other than black and grey, is a great idea for as long as your workplace is open to such. I know of a friend who works for a huge international company – she told me how limited the colors and prints they can wear in their office, otherwise, co-workers will make fun and/or they will be called out.
To dress this down, I could see myself wearing a pair of white Keds maybe, a backpack, and a jean jacket for a cute casual look. What do you think? Since the dress has shirt material, it's very comfortable. However, my only concern is that the sheer part at the front makes me look pregnant sometimes. Haha! But it's still cute!

I’m a huge fan of anything nautical, so I love love this dress! I like that you paired it with the red blazer too– super cute!

That’s a super cute dress and I love it with the red coat and heels.
I had a job waaaaaaay back where we all had to wear uniforms. And it wasn’t a restaurant or anything like that. The guys who worked outside had grey pants and grey striped shirts. Ours were grey pants and a grey dress shirt. Made getting dressed SUPER easy, but totally boring. Knowing that colors and styles are restricted (beyond the reasonable “don’t wear sheer tops/mini skirts/ripped pants) makes me kinda sad for your friend.
