Although school has officially started a couple of weeks ago, summer isn't officially over, especially for us folks in Texas. We just seem to have longer hot season down here in Houston! I am not complaining though. Trust me, I would prefer warm weather versus cold anytime! I'm the type that gets cold at 75 degrees!
Having longer warm weather gives me more reason to drink my favorite cold Starbucks drinks. Have you already tried their bottled Frappuccino? My favorite is the Mocha! I mean I've always loved the hot Cafe Mocha but having a cold bottled Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino on a typical 90-degree weather here in Houston doesn't hurt at all! The 9.5 fl oz, which is the smaller bottle, is only 100 calories! And for such a low-cal drink, it makes me feel full! Definitely a good drink to go with some low-cal snacks as well.
If you're not a huge fan of mocha, they have other flavors as well such as Coffee, Vanilla, Dark Chocolate Mocha, and Light Vanilla. I've tried the Coffee and Vanilla and they're both delicious! For nutrition facts about Starbucks Bottled Frappuccino, you can click here.
Oh and did I mention that Starbucks also has a bottled Iced Coffee as well? Just like their bottled frap, it also comes in different flavors. I've tried the Caramel and the Coffee + Milk, which is only 100 calories in an 11 fl oz bottle. If you'd like to find out more, you can also find the nutrition facts here.
These products are very conveniently available at your local grocery stores or pharmacy such as Walgreens or CVS. If you're always on the go and have no time to go to your local Starbucks, these bottled products will be your perfect companion for a quick pick-me-up in the morning or anytime during the day! I know they are for me.
And I just love how Starbucks has come up with a variety of coffee products to fit their customers' personalities and lifestyle. They also have the Via Instant which comes in 4 different flavors – Iced Coffee, Black, Latte, and Refreshers. These are basically packets of coffee. All you have to do is add 16 fl oz ice cold water and voila! The best part about Via Instant is you can create your own flavor! You can find different recipes here. I must admit, the Iced Mint and the non-alcoholic Sangria are pretty tempting!
Oh and don't you just gotta love their tumbler? I have this huge one (pink and blue below!) and by using it with any of my favorite Starbucks drinks, I make sure that my body is well-hydrated.
Since I've been working out a lot lately (for me at least, it's a lot!), I needed some protein boost without leaving the caffeine part. I love working out and I usually do it in the evenings with my boyfriend. I feel more energized but truth be told, it's also exhausting. Just being real. That said, I need a good combo of protein and caffeine which this delicious Starbucks Doubleshot has! Each can has about 20 grams of protein. If you haven't tried any of these Starbucks drinks, I suggest making a trip to your local grocery store and pick up a flavor of each! I'm sure you will enjoy them in the last days of summer.
