Who would’ve thought that you can wear a cold shoulder top in fall? Only in Houston! Although we’ve been getting fairly cold weather in the mornings and at nights, we still get mid to high 70’s in the middle of the day.
I’m not complaining! I’m a cold-natured person so warm is definitely my comfort zone. But I also love the fact that I don’t have to layer up 10 items to keep me warm. Although there are of course days like that here and I’m anticipating more of it in the few weeks to come as we head into winter.
But I picked up this cute Rachel Roy Leather Mini Skirt at Macy’s the other day. It’s a little long than I’d like it to be and fits a bit big but it’s so cute in person that I had to make do with it! It was also on sale so no complains right there. You wear it with black tights underneath and a coat over if it gets to be too cold but if you live in Florida or Texas like I do, this simple outfit will do!
The boots are unfortunately sold out. But I found a really cute pair that are similar to these ones but a bit more edgy. Check out these Bos & Co Booties!
