Happy Monday all! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was an eventful one but nevertheless grateful because the weekend has just been beautiful, weatherwise. Who, among you ladies, are fans of shift dresses? It’s classic cut and very easy to wear. It’s really a go-to piece for those days when you just need to be out and about fast and going to be on-the-go all day. You want something pretty comfy yet still feminine and stylish enough. I think whatever season it is, you are bound to see some shift dresses – what changes pretty much are the prints and colors. I particularly love this printed shift dress from The Palm Tree Boutique because of the prints and the colors of the prints. It’s lovely and lively. You know how I’m very much an advocate of using colors in your outfits. So this is one of those effortless ways to do so! The only issue I have is the length – I don’t blame it on the dress, I blame it on my height. Ha! I could either wish I am taller or the dress at least 2″ shorter. Too bad I couldn’t tailor it because of the way they have the prints incorporated in the length. I added a belt to cinch my waist, thus giving me a bit more of a shape around the waist area. By also making the dress blousy, it shortens the length a tiny bit. Taller girls obviously won’t have this issue. *Wink* Regardless of the length, the dress is lovely! Even if the dress is printed and abundant in bright colors, you still gotta accessorize with some fun jewels. I decided to go with a mix and match of pink and turquoise jewels. If you see anything that you like, be sure to check out the Outfit Recap links at the above. If you’re in the market for some great jewelries and accessories, please check out Pink Wasabi Shop and Lily Rain. For inexpensive yet stylish shoes, check out Deb Shops. Those are online stores with good stuff. Till my next post!
