Even though it’s still brutally hot here in Houston, I feel that summer is coming to an end very soon (well it is) because it gets dark earlier in the evenings now. Not yet by much but when you use natural light to do a photo shoot, you notice these things. Besides, you also see brick and mortar fashion retailers and online boutiques with some fall items already. Sigh. I must admit (and I have several times) that I don’t like fall and winter. I’m just not a cool weather baby. Haha.
Today’s look is very casual. I put it together with the intention of slowly transitioning to fall. Although I promise you I still have a lot of cute items to show you and the best part about it is that most of these summer items will be in crazy sale prices.
Obviously, fall colors are darker and a bit more in the dull side which is why I’m also not fond of fall fashion. But the best way to start incorporating fall in your wardrobe while it’s still summer is by using scarves, light-layering, and mixing and matching light and dark colors that already exist in your closet.
All of my jewelries in this outfit were from this box subscription company called Wantable. Has any of you ladies tried them? You have the option to choose a beauty intimates or a fashion/jewelries/accessories box. I chose the latter. I got to try out the June box I believe which came with the scarf, the long necklace, the earrings, and the bangle.
