We always kinda have a fashion crisis in Houston whenever we're transitioning from summer to fall. Even though it's officially fall, we still can't wear boots without getting laughed at somehow because most days are still warm. Thus, it's only justifiable to still wear summery outfits just like this one. Although, of course, one has every right to wear boots and booties anytime they want!
So I'm slightly channeling my Carrie Bradshaw again in this outfit. My flirty and vintage-loving soul has to come out every once in awhile and this full circle skirt from Shabby Apple will not miss once chance to be shown off here on my blog to say the least. The skirt really makes me feel such a dignified lady from the 50's! If you're in a warmer location like I do and you swear you love wearing skirt, I do highly suggest this piece. It's great for three out of four seasons. The floral sweater made the outfit just much brighter and more fun. I tell you, I kinda drew some attention from a lot of folks while shooting this outfit. An old gentleman, probably in his late 70s, asked to have a photo taken with me. Ha!
Anyway, you know how I love fashion jewelries and while I wore a statement necklace here, I opted for a totally simple and classy arm parrty with my TRAX NYC bracelets. These pieces are gold-plated real sterling silver. You ladies and gents have to check them out. I'm sure that you will find something for yourself or as gifts for Christmas or special occasions.
