Simon Fashion Now™ Presented by Cadillac

Last Thursday, September 6, I had the opportunity to once again witness this season’s Simon Fashion Now™ presented by Cadillac, in conjunction with Fashion’s Night Out. If you remember, last April, I was able to attend as well, together with other local fashion media. This time around the fun and the experience has leveled up, thanks to the always generous Houston Area Cadillac Dealers!

I, along with five of my readers who won the Cadillac-Inspired Looks Photo Contest, got treated to a Cadillac VIP experience, including a loan ride for a week so that we could all arrive in style at the show, a pre-show reception, front row seats for an up-close look of the trends, and an after party!

Simon Fashion Now™, brought to you by Simon Property Group, is basically a runway showcase of the styles and trends that are immediately available in the stores. It is unlike any other fashion shows where you have to wait for a few months before you can actually purchase the style that you saw the models are wearing.  Thursday evening highlighted luxury brands and designers such as Jimmy Choo, Fendi, Saks Fifth Avenue, Max Azria and Neimann Marcus to name a few.

I had to so much fun that night and I couldn’t be any more grateful for the experience! Here’s a partial overview of the evening….

THE SHOW

The actual runway show was held on the Ice Rink at the Houston Galleria. They actually turned the whole ice rink into a fashion lounge and runway. How amazing is that? The place was packed with VIPs and media since the Thursday evening segment of the whole Simon Fashion Now™ weekend was an invite-only.

THE TRENDS

I must admit these knee high leopard print boots are to die for! They sure were gorgeous on the runway.

Red accessories over black. We will definitely be seeing a lot more of this color combo this season.

Hat, turtle neck, printed blazer, leather skinny jeans, and loafers – this look is just an awesome combination of all the trends! Absolutely amazing.

I’m bummed that my men’s fashion photos didn’t come out that great.  I have to make do with this one just because this model has always been a crowd favorite because of his smile and the fact that all the looks looked great on him!
