The weather in Houston hasn't been quite stellar lately. As you know, a few weeks ago, we had a terrible flooding in town that caused thousands of people's belongings damaged, including vehicles. Over the past weekend, we had another episode of flooding in some areas. Thankfully, it wasn't that bad. I guess that's part of living in a city surrounded with several bayous. 

I said that to say because when we shot this outfit, it was such a gorgeous day! But it was one of those weeks when it would be bright and sunny one day and rain for a couple of days. One thing I noticed though is that we hardly ever get rain all day. It was only on that unfortunate day when the whole town got flooded that was pretty much raining all day, thus the bayou waters rose.

Anyway, I mentioned a few times already in the past couple of posts that I had that wedding season is just around the corner and sometimes finding a nice and reasonably-priced dress is a mission, especially with so many options and so many places to shop at. I do personally like shopping at Nordstrom.com though because it's such a breeze and their return/exchange policy is stellar, just in case something didn't work out.

One of my favorite brands, which I already featured here before, is Eliza J. Dress. Their prices are a little more than average than what you probably would want to spend but it's still reasonable.
