The holidays are almost upon us and with that also comes gift giving. Just as much as I love shopping, I dread the crowd and long lines at the mall so I started some of my gift shopping earlier this year.
Instead of going to the regular mall and stores close to me, I decided to head out to Houston Premium Outlets.
It’s about an hour away from me but it’s so worth it! I found some designer items for less.
See I’m all about giving good, practical, and functional gifts but I’m also about budget shopping. If I can combine both, I’m happy and my gift recipients are happy!
It’s definitely exciting to shop at Houston Premium Outlets. One of my stops is J.Crew. I mean who doesn’t love J.Crew? It’s the store that’s loved by most fashionistas out there – both men and women. And not only do they carry men and women but also children.
I found this cutest sweater with tiny bows for my 5-year old niece who is a fashionista herself. You’ve seen some of her photos here on my blog. That girl sure knows how to pose for the camera and I can’t wait for her to see this sweater! I’m sure she will love this.
I also found some amazing fashion jewelriesthat will make a great stocking stuffer.
My boyfriend has been looking for a maroon sweater to wear for colder weather and during game day. He’s an Aggie (Texas A&M) so he has quite a few maroon clothing items in his wardrobe. When I saw this, I just had to get it for him. Now this might not make it for Christmas since it’s actually his birthday on November 3 (a few days after this blog post). But we will see. I got it actually for about 50% off. Win!
But hey, I decided to get myself a sweater too. When I saw this J.Crew polka dot sweater, I couldn’t resist myself.
Another stop was the Coach store. This place was packed with lots of good sales. I got my mom this suede cross-body bag which was 70% off. And mind you, the items that you can find at this store aren’t factory rejects at all. They are the same quality products that you will find at the regular retail store.
Oh and I also got a Coach scarf. Honestly, I have no idea yet who I am going to give it to because I haven’t finished my Christmas list. However, I didn’t want this particular Coach scarf design to sell out so I just grabbed it.
I also got my mom a pair of Tory Burch flats. What’s shopping without stopping at one of my favorite designer stores? From now till Black Friday I believe they are having door buster sales. I’m not done with my shopping yet so I’m pretty sure I will be back.
And because Michael Kors has also has a sale going on, I found myself an excuse to get this cross-body bag. I haven’t found a cross-body that I really liked until I saw this Michael Kors cross-body. I’ve always loved the quality of Michael Kors handbags. The branch at the Houston Premium Outlets carries some pretty amazing designs in both handbags and wallets. They also carry some fragrances and other accessories such as jewelries and watches.
Finally, I had to stop at the Kate Spade store. Ahhhh this place is pretty amazing! I had to contain myself so I don’t walk out with the whole store!
If you want to find designer items for less, I suggest checking out Simon Premium Outlets to find a location near you.
