Yesterday, on our “Spring Forward” day,  we had another crazy cold here in Houston and that supposedly would have been our last freeze here. I am counting the days till it’s officially spring, which also happens to be my mom’s birthday. For the meantime, I am celebrating the coming of Spring with some spring hues in my outfit and of course some macarons!

Thought it’d be nice to celebrate the upcoming spring with some macarons and I just happen to love Petite Sweets! They have the yummiest macarons…you know they aren’t created equal, right? Well, aside from their delicious macarons, it was super fun shooting at their location with some macaron decals in the background.

Anyway, on to the outfit. I absolutely love the scallop details on this Pink Blush dress. This is definitely a MUST HAVE dress for spring. It’s so adorable. If you love skater dresses and scallops, then you’ll love this.

Oh, and how about these J. Crew Pumps? Can I just say WIN?! Well, you can’t lose with any J. Crew items anyway! These “Elsie” suede pumps are the perfect way to add spring hues to your outfit – whether it’s work or play. It’s a very light blue-mintish color in person but it’s also available in coral I believe. I have seen some of their spring collection – shoes, accessories, and clothing…and I’m drooling over them. These pumps are another MUST have for spring.
