Fallin’ Stylishly in Paige and Freebird

As much as I don’t like the cold weather, I must admit that Fall is one great season to be stylish. There’s just too many ways to be creative because there’s much more elements in styling and the trends seem to look more sophisticated, in my opinion. Maybe, it’s the layering…perhaps the jewel hues…or the hats, the scarves. The boots and booties maybe? I’m not sure but I could understand why there are so many ladies who prefer fall fashion over summer.

Anyway, today’s outfit post is a bit different in such a way that I don’t have my usual collage of outfit recap to show you the details of what I’m wearing because I want to focus on just the main elements in this outfit which were all from Zappos! Which avid shopper doesn’t love Zappos? It’s the place to go for anything name brand in fashion! They are a 15-year-old e-commerce site now boasting over 150,000 styles from over 1,000 brands! I think what I love about them too is the 365 days return policy. Who can beat that? Anyway, so I did a little shopping spree last week and got me a few items that I’d like to style two ways: fall and holiday.

I got this military-inspired “Verdugo” denim from Paige and wanted to style it with a pair of booties from Freebird, which are both high-end name brands known for quality and craftsmanship. Eage Paige denim style is wear-tested and tested again. They only partner with the best wash houses in Los Angeles. Freebird by Steven boots, on the other hand, are handcrafted from start to finish, using a traditional Goodyear construction, in which stacks of leather are hammered together and carefully stitched to create a virtually indestructible sole. This technique has been used to create the highest quality boots for centuries.

For the Fall style, I decided to match the denim with a plaid top which is obviously a huge trend this season. Topped off the outfit, literally, with a hat. In lieu of a necklace, I wore a scarf as an accessory and went for minimal jewelries. How do you like the earth tones/neutral vibes to the whole outfit?
