Thought I’d share the sign below at one of the parks in Pearland. Thought it was funny. Of course, there was no camera…other than what we brought to shoot.
It’s been awhile since I styled a pair of jeans on my blog so thought it’s about a time. Have you ever styled a pair of floral jeans (or in most cases, jeggings)? It’s realy not complicated to style them but I know that it’s not for everyone. Not every girl can confidently pull them off. Honestly, it’s really just wearing a printed skirt, only they’re covering your legs fully.
I like this pair that I’m wearing particulary because the base color is white so it’s easier to find colors that will match with it. It’s also available in cobalt blue from Pink Slate Boutique. With the base being white, it can be paired with a chambray top, a plain white v-neck shirt, and even a lilac flowy tank. I decided to go the darker shade because I have this loosed collared button down sheer top from Tangerine NYC and thought the wine color matches perfectly with the floral jeans so there…I think it worked quite well. Don’t you think?
Since the floral jeans are feminine, going with some edgy jewelries is a good option. That gave the look a balance of edgy and feminine vibe and keeping it simple or toned down with the taupe handbag from AMI Clubwear and dark brown platform shoes from Venus. Not to toot my own horn, but I really love the look. It looks stylish yet still comfy and casual. What do you think, ladies and gents?
