I’ve never really tried a bandage dress before. As you can probably tell, I don’t wear too much body con dresses because I don’t feel that I have the curves for it. But I fell in love with the color coordinates of this bandage dress from Kuriel Boutique so I figured, why not try it? Needless to say I’m sold. It’s a bit tight for me because I really like roomie dresses and I need to size up I think but it’s definitely flattering! It gives me more curves than I really do have. Anyway, Kuriel is another boutique whose selections I like very much. It’s as if they picked my brain and asked for my opinion on what I want them to put in their boutique and they did it. Ha, of course, that’s really not the case but the buyer must have the same style as I do. *Wink*
Anyway, a couple of monogrammed items in this outfit. Instead of my usual eye-popping statement necklace, I wore a dainty gold-plated monogrammed necklace from 9th & Elm. They basically curate handmade and independent designer items so if you like supporting artists, you can check them out. I believe that they do have other boutique items too. Now the bangles from Marley and Lilly I have already worn here before but they just seem to be the perfect arm party for this dress.
The whole outfit looks simple and sophisticated. I honestly think Kate Middleton will wear this. Okay, kidding, not really. I do think though Blake Lively would like this style. I definitely like her style…on a side note.
