The third part of my Try This Trend series is all about oversized outerwear. I’m sure you’ve seen them…those cozy cardigans in different colors and prints that aren’t necessarily flattering to the figure yet so widely popular these days. Yup, it’s exactly what I’m wearing on this post. It was freezing when we shot this (when is never freezing for me anyways?) but this oversized cardigan from Top Shelf Wardrobe really did help a lot. After all, that’s its purpose, isn’t it? It really can keep you warm. I paired it with these black leggings, also from Top Shelf, but I could imagine that they’d also look great with say a pair of dark denim or even a midi skirt but you’d have to put a belt around the cardi to accentuate your waist. Anyway, I once said on my personal facebook page that I’d rather look fat and warm then dress sexy. Babooom! If I can get my hands on another oversized cardi like this in a different print and color, I’d definitely be overjoyed! So I’m keeping my eyes open. Do you own one?
