I hardly ever go to a black tie event…so being able to wear a nice gown even in a shoot was such a pleasure! Anyway, medical this week I'm featuring a series of cocktails/party dresses.
The first time I saw this white dress, I immediately fell in love with it. I tried on a lot of dresses but eventually came back to this one. It came in white and in black which I also tried but I went back to my "love at first sight."
Here's a photo at the store when I tried both the black and the white. (Pleas excuse my face, LOL, I was without make-up.)
This dress is from H. Harloquin which is a haven of gorgeous cocktail and formal dresses. It is local in Houston but they do have a website where you can purchase. For Houstonians, if you ever have a need for gowns and cocktail dresses, be sure to visit H. Harloquin at the Houston Galleria, second floor Z, behind Saks Fifth Avenue. Haley, the owner of the store, will assist you personally! She is the sweetest person you will ever meet. Just the fact that the store owner is the one assisting the customers I think it's pretty special! You hardly ever see that nowadays.
Also, I must also mention a huge thanks to The Bell Tower on the 34th for letting me use their facility to shoot the gowns and for letting me use their Bridal Room to change clothes. Angela, who is the Director of Marketing, and James, who was the staff on site during our shoot, were both very friendly! James even served me with champagne and my mom with a soda. Top notch service!
I know you can hardly see the rest of the place in the photos, since, literally, the whole shoot for this dress was done in this corner with perfect outdoor lighting. But I will definitely be uploading photos of The Bell Tower on the 34th so you can see my dream wedding place.
OUTFIT RECAP: (All c/o except my glitter wedges which were not seen anyways haha!) H. Harloquin White Dress | Alexis Gopal Jewelry Earrings (Previously Featured) | Charming Charlie Bracelet (Previously Featured)
