I think that fashion these days has evolved so much in a sense that you can pretty much combine vintage and modern in one outfit, sales strut it in the streets, and not look funny. Of course, with all of that done tastefully. For example, back in the days, I don't believe women wear midi skirts with a crop top, did they? If they did, I am not aware of it. But these days, it's pretty acceptable to wear a crop top with a midi skirt so it won't look too vintage-ish. There are different ways to make your vintage piece more relevant to today's fashion. It's up to you to find your inspiration to make it fit to your own personal style and lifestyle.  Chicwish is definitely one of my favorite online retailers that are selling vintage fashion. They are overseas but unlike other China-based or Hong-Kong-based online stores, the quality of their products are good and the shipping is comparably fast. They have so many adorable whimsical pieces that it's hard not to do damage in your budget if you're fond of crochets, midis, tulles, fit and flare dresses, and many more.

Because of the midi skirt material, I think it is rather for dressing up than down so I went for a look that's say going to a summer wedding. I'm sure you can wear a pair of sandals or wedges to dress it down a bit but I wouldn't recommend the skirt as an everyday piece. The crop top however, even though it's lace, is pretty versatile. Unfortunately, it's sold out. Deb Shops, as you've seen this name on my blog a thousand times, carries different crop tops so you have many to choose from if you'd like to check it out.

The studded mint clutch from AMI Clubwear is hard not to notice. I haven't seen a mint clutch like this anywhere so I was really ecstatic when I found it on AMI Clubwear's site. Unfortunately, again, it's sold out. You can expect pieces like these to sell out like pancakes. They do carry other cute handbags and clutches though so even if you might not find this piece anymore, you still might want to visit their site because you might just find something that you'd like.

Going easy on jewelries may be a thing of the past. Well, okay, I take that back. There's a place for everything. These days, for as long as you don't look like a Christmas tree overloaded with ornaments, you're not over-accessorized yet. Statement earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and even rings are widely acceptable and not only that, encouraged and celebrated. Otherwise, you wouldn't see so many pieces out carried by retailers.
