Summer fashion is all about bright and bold colors but it is refreshing to see neutrals every once in awhile because they are easy on the eyes. In all honesty, wearing without colors is kind of killing me inside (exaggerating of course) because colors are the fuel of my personal style. I love colors and it's basically the basis of how I put my outfits together. That's not to say that trying something new isn't a good thing, especially when I saw this A-line pleated skirt from Chicwish in champagne. I am kind of bummed that it somehow didn't live up to my expectation quality-wise (I've seen better quality goods from them) but I still like the style. It also fits a bit loose on me. The top with the 3D daisies though are adorable! I just wish the material is a bit thinner for summer. I think the top will look great with a pair of dark denims too!
Today's outfit is definitely modest. Not sexy, not flattering. It's simple but not basic. The neutral colors and the style are classic. Adding a hint of mint is a way to add colors without breaking the neutrals so much.
