Not sure if you guys have noticed but the past few days, the sun is starting to set earlier, at least here in Houston. It used to be when the sun doesn’t set till a little past 8 in the evening. Yesterday, we had a photo shoot and I noticed that it’s beginning to get dark around 7:30ish which gives me the feeling that Fall is really just around the corner. Before you knew it, wearing layers will already be a MUST. Oh how fast seasons change, doesn’t it?
Anyway, the high-low trend is so huge this year that retailers still keep putting out dresses and skirts in this style. Somehow, it makes me think, will it ever end? It really looks like it’s going to stay for another season at least. Even though there are so many high-lows out there, it is exciting to see them in different colors and prints, like this one from Lovenell. How many have you seen in geometric, abstract, or deco printed mullets? This kind of stands out in my closet – it’s not the usual feminine floral you would see. And the fact that it’s in Fall colors – I immediately categorized it as one of my go-to transitional dress! Have you started shopping for Fall yet?

I do really like that color, both in general and on you! And the fact that your dress is racerback, layering is much easier. I'm also TOTALLY infatuated by that necklace!
