Pinks and Blues Are Forever True

Did you say,  “OH EM GEE!” when you saw this pink coat? I did! When I first saw it on www.cabionline.com. This pink coat is definitely my favorite from CAbi’s Fall 2014 collection. First of all, it breaks the normal fall hues/jewel tones, which are great, but can be dull after sometime. You can only see so much burgundy, black, brown, blues and what not. With this pink coat, you’re getting out of the “Fall Fashion Box” and making a statement. I promise that for as long as I fit in it, it will be in my closet! I once again used a button down but this time, instead of wearing a sweater on top of it, I chose a lighter shirt since I have a wool coat. Wearing a lighter or thin shirt above your button down will still serve the purpose of keeping you warm without making you look chunky. I would also wear a tank underneath just so you have a piece of clothing hugging your body tight, also for warming purposes.

And in case you think I’m wearing Valentino shoes, not. But they sure are inspired by the famous V designer and for just less than a fraction of the cost of the real ones. Talk about budget style. Surprisingly, they are comfortable. My feet were already hurting when we shot this and I was quite worried that they will hurt my feet. Thankfully, they didn’t.
