Here’s a weather report from Houston…it’s cold! It’s been freezing cold for about a week now. I didn’t expect that we’re going to have freezing weather as early as mid-November. I can’t imagine those of you folks who are in snowing areas. How do you even manage?

Anyway,  so today,  I want to introduce you to the newly-relaunched women’s brand Metaphor Collection which are sold exclusively at Sears. Are you guys familiar with the brand? The prices are very affordable and I think that the styles are fit for the working, the modern, and the stylish woman. It’s also for those of you who love the classic styles, prints, and cuts. The styles aren’t so seasonal but they’re something that you can wear all year round…except of course for the winter items.

In this outfit, the items that were from Metaphor were the blouse with floral graphic print as well as the skirt. As you can see, the skirt still has a modest length which is fit for the workplace environment but at the same time, you can wear it for a night out. The floral top is also something that you can wear underneath a jacket or blazer. For a day look, you can pair it with your favorite denims. I really like that the pieces are sleek and versatile – you can easily transform them from work to play to night look and incorporate them with what you already have in your closet. If you’re not familiar with the brand, I suggest checking them out. Other than clothing, they also offer shoes and accessories to complete your look. And if you’re already in the market for some holiday dresses, I have seen some from their collection that are just fit for the upcoming parties this season!
