Meet Nehrielle, Our Little Superstar

You’ve probably seen her face before on my Facebook page because I’ve posted her pictures quite a few times and you must have seen her here when she was about 6 months old when you first followed my blog. Her name is Nehrielle and she’s my 20-month old niece. Her name is unique, isn’t it? The proud aunt (ahem! yours truly) actually gave her that name. Honestly, I don’t know how it came about but one night, my mom and I were thinking of what name to give my brother’s and my sister-in-law’s miracle baby and after blurting out several names, Nehrielle just sounded right. It really must have been God-given.  So looking at the spelling, this is the breakdown of what her name really means:

NERI (Hebrew) – My burning light
RIEL (Spanish) – God is my strength
H – We added H which means Grace in Hebrew
EL (Hebrew) – The first name of God.

She’s a miracle baby. Just when my brother and my sister in law were about to do fertility, she was conceived after a few years of waiting.

Anyways, we shot these pictures about few weeks ago. It was fun but exhausting. It was hard to keep her still (I’m sure you mommies can relate!) but that did not stop us from taking her pictures. She’s a very happy baby, so fun, so playful…and turning into a little spoiled diva, haha. She absolutely loves Dora and ummm definitely loves cellphones and computers. I think she’s going to turn out to a technology baby!
