Colorblocking is one trend that I truly truly love this season. It’s just so much fun to mix and match complimentary and contrasting colors, don’t you think? Green and blue, hot pink and orange, mint green and coral, yellow and lilac…ahhhhh the fun of colorblocking! It looks like it’s here to stay till summer this year but we shall see if it will still be here next year.
I found this hot pink and orange dress at Forever21. As I am not an impulsive buyer, I just looked at it, tried it on once and then put it back on the hanger. LOL. Yes, I’m proud of that characteristic, haha. After a day or two, my mom convinced me to buy it. I complied. I’m not an impulsive buyer but sometimes I am not hard to convince either. At the store, I still had it to think once more before buying it. You would have thought that I’m spending a fortune on this dress LOL when it’s only $24. Hey, it’s still $24! What say you?
I turned falling in love with the dress especially when I matched it with my mint green pumps from Charlotte Russe and my mint green belt.
Forgive me if this post is quite a bit of a picspam. I just hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed shooting the outfit.
One of my favorite bib/statement necklace in my collection…from Astrid and Miyu London.
This is handbag is a gift from my Aunt, my cousin @Twistedjam‘s mom. She’s definitely one of the fashionistas in the family.
Teardrop earrings from Charming Charlie. One of the things I also had to think about before buying. LOL. My future husband will be so happy. I guess people think that I am high maintenance but my mom and closest friends will testify that I am not. Although I must admit, a little splurging does happen sometimes. *wink* You have probably seen these two turquoise bracelets a gazillion times if you’ve been following my blog for awhile.
Hope you ladies and gents like my final post for this week. More features coming up next week so be sure to like my FB page if you haven’t yet or follow me on Bloglovin’ to get updated of the latest and greatest outfit posts. Have a great weekend! xoxo
