It's not everyday that a high fashion LA designer such as Adolfo Sanchez, pharm who has worked with the likes of Latoya Jackson, look would dress up a Texas fashion blogger. That's why it is always a great opportunity whenever Adolfo and his team send me a piece from his collection to feature.
The first time I worked with Adolfo Sanchez was last year when I featured his Prin Glitz dress. In that feature, I've expressed how impressed I am with the quality of his work. I have shown his work to my mom who used to own and operate a made-to-order clothing boutique and she was equally impressed as well – that is just not to flatter Adolfo. I know because she is very meticulous with details.
This Suele Verdi pants from Adolfo's Spring Summer 2012 collection isn't an exception from the quality of his work and let me tell you why. As soon as I got the pants, I showed them to my mom and asked how easy or how difficult it is to create drapes. Growing up, I do remember them creating dresses with drapes but didn't fully understand the level of difficulty in creating it with a quality outcome. It's not easy to create drapes in dress, how much more in pants? So I tell you these pants are really special.
I wanted to give justice and bring out the sophistication it deserves so I paired it with this black raffled haltered Bebe top. Black matched perfectly with mint green…what can you say? Although I portrayed a high fashion (or so in that level) on this post, the pants can definitely worn with a chic top such as this Plie top for a lunch date or a gathering with friends.
Stay tuned next week for another big giveaway I am launching including these pants!
