Who’s pretty surprised that October is here? This girl! I know that time flies but I’m ALWAYS surprised when a new month starts. I’m always like, where did time go?

Anyway, bright colors are out and jewel tones are in. Most women seem to favorite burgundy or wine or cranberry (however you want to call it) during fall. My husband is an Aggie (Texas A&M) so I am an adopted Aggie football fan and have to wear an Aggie color whenever we go to an Aggie game watching party or an actual game. You know, so I can fit in.

I have quite a few burgundy items in my closet and the newest addition is this BlankNYC Burgundy Moto Jacket which will come in very useful once the weather starts to get cold. Now, let me tell you that it’s a little pricey but it’s so worth it. It does look classy in person and the quality of workmanship is superb. If you’re going to be investing in a nice fall or winter piece this season, I highly recommend this moto jacket. It is pretty heavy duty and I’m sure it will do a great job in keeping you warm.

I also recently discovered a new brand EMU Australia. They’ve got some really nice, high-quality footwear but this pair called Blumont is a winner for me (and another pair I’m showing on another post). Again, this is another booties that you would want to invest in this season. Great quality, great style!

Lastly, let’s talk about rose gold! Kendra Scott has got some really nice rose gold collection and I’m totally loving the Drusy Earrings. They’re not the usual Kendra Scott shape and it’s actually refreshing to see a different style but you still can see the Kendra Scott touch to it. And this Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace is so elegant in person. The pictures don’t do these pieces in justice but do check it out.

Finally, a new favorite: Alex & And What Is For You Will Not Pass You Bangle. I absolutely love the quote in that bangle. It’s a great reminder for me not to stress out when things aren’t happening on my timetable. It’s always great to be reminded that what’s for me will not pass me. If you’re already shopping for the holidays, this bangle, for $32, will make such a great gift!
