Crocheted pieces are hot this summer! The intricate details knitted together to form one beautiful whole makes someone who wears it so lovely and so feminine. Don’t you think? Whether it’s a swimsuit cover up, a pair of shorts, a dress, skirt, or top, one can’t help but feel lovely in them. That’s why I’m always drawn to crocheted clothing items like this victorian sheer top with crochet neckline and the crochet shorts from Two Chicks on a Clothes Line Boutique. Matching both crochets together don’t seem like an overkill to me at all but see the buffer is the sheer portion of the top. I will probably think twice on wearing a full crochet top over a full crochet shorts. Then again, I have never really tried it yet, so it’s probably something to experiment on in the near future. For the meantime, these pieces are still available (direct links above) so if you feel drawn to them, I suggest checking them out. I decided to cinch my waist with one of my cute bow belts. If you’re following me on Instagram (heyitslynneg), you’d probably seen my little bow belt collection.
The whole outfit seems a bit neutral to me in color scheming. I didn’t add too much pop of color like I normally would except for the minimal pops of color you’d see in my earrings and bracelet from Pretty in Pynk, which by the way carries such amazing jewelries I’m sure you’ll love. The satchel from Galian Handbags is a total matchy matchy with my top. I’ve always loved the quality of their handbags and if you see this particular satchel in person, you will totally be in love with the color. It’s a sweet coral pink.
The shoes from Glam Rock Chick are an oldie but definitely a goodie. They are one of my most comfortable shoes and my go-to pair whenever I need to wear heels but still need to be comfortable.
The good thing about this outfit is that you can always dress it down. It’s amazing that just by changing your shoes to say a pair of gladiators or thong sandals, you’re ready to run errands or have brunch with your girl friends in style!
