It's finally beginning to sink in that we're in October, the beginning of the last quarter of the year. I don't know why I'm always surprised but it seems that the three quarters of the year just snuck right by me and I don't know where it went. It's also beginning to be chilly here in Houston and this girl here is not going to be happy when it starts to get cold. Oh well!
I think what I love about Fall though is being able to wear faux fur, leather, and boots. Yes, I love summer fashion and the bright colors involved in it but the boots, booties, and the outwear just bring another edge to fall fashion. Today's look isn't necessarily the typical fall fashion because even though it's getting chilly, our highest is still in the 80's. But the colors fit right in.
I have already mentioned before that sometimes the beauty of an outfit is in the details. I love the laser cut detail in the hem of this skater skirt from Cici Hot, the design in the back of my Ever Ivy top, and the leopard backing of my pumps, also from Cici Hot. So as not to look too "earthy", I decided to accessorize with some cobalt and gold. I hope I don't sound like I'm tooting my own horn but I honestly love how this whole look is classy.
