Celebrity Inspired Outfit: Kimora Lee

I’ve been wanting to do a celebrity-inspired outfit post for the longest time (well since I started blogging), however,  it’s not always easy. As I was browsing for celebrity pics one day, I found this image of Kimora Lee wearing a midnight blue sequined body contour dress (not sure who the designer is). Thankfully, I have a similar one from Forever21 which I’ve had for more than a year now and got it for $13! Wore it only once or twice I think.

So it’s not exactly as glamorous and as high-end as that of Kimora’s, but it works right? *Wink* The material is elastic and the floral designs has metallic gold in it.  This is my first shoot against a wall so I’m feeling kind of awkward LOL. I chose a wall for this outfit to sort of mimic the image above and to have more focus on the outfit. But don’t you just love it when bulges just decide to show up in random places and when you need the best picture the most? Grrrr!

I accessorized my neckline with this pearl bib necklace to add more glam!

While Kimora had very minimal accessories, a black clutch and silver shoes, I chose to use beige shoes and bronze clutch on mine.

Another option is to use black shoes and black clutch. I think it came out alright but I prefer the beige one better. What do you think? I really would do one with perhaps more bold option such as gold. Unfortunately though, I don’t have gold glitter shoes! Perhaps that should be on my wish list!
