“You are worthy to be successful.”
– Kimberly Inskeep, President & Chief Culture Officer, CAbi
Last Tuesday, October 28, 2014, I had once again the opportunity to be a part of another CAbi event – it’s their BeautiFALL Career Event. I have previously mentioned that for as long as I’ve been blogging, I’ve already been working with them. This is really one thing I LOVE about CAbi – their company culture is all about people. They value and support you. It is evident in the success of every CAbi consultant that I have met in person and those that I have heard the stories of through the videos they share at their events.
Tammy Golden, a very wonderful lady with a corporate resume with flying colors and is now doing very well as a CAbi Consultant, mentioned during our brief chat that CAbi has a very high retention rate. Some have been consultants for 10 years or more. I don’t doubt that at all because even I have been retained for years to work with them in styling their pieces here on my blog and covering their events here in Houston. If I am not mistaken, I was the very first ever fashion/style blogger that they have ever worked with. To be able to work with a high-caliber fashion company such as CAbi is definitely an honor – especially once you have gotten to know their culture and what they’re all about.
When some women at the BeautiFALL Career Event was asked what their motivation was when they joined CAbi, some said money, freedom, and flexibility to raise and be there for their family, while others are all about being able to fulfill some of their dreams and personal goals – such as a swimming pool in their backyard. Whatever the motivation was, it was made possible with CAbi’s career opportunity in fashion.
CAbi consultants are women from all walks of life. It is inspiring to hear their stories and how they took a risk and overcame their skepticism to find success with and in the company.
I remember listening to Allison’s story – she is a freshman CAbi consultant here in Houston, TX. She shared how she’s very skeptical in joining CAbi at first. A full-time housewife and mom, she felt that she needed some change. Needless to say, she joined CAbi and made $24,000.00 in her first season as a “rookie.” Isn’t that amazing?
The company’s business model is designed to make even a newbie successful. Consultants are very supportive of each other and it seems that they really are each other’s best girlfriends. I might have mentioned this before but I love going to CAbi events because of the wonderful atmosphere. Besides, listening to Kimberly Inskeep alone is already very inspiring. Kimberly is the company’s President and Chief Culture Officer. One of my all-time favorite quotes from her is “Everyone is a beautiful story.” Indeed.
I’m sure everyone enjoyed the inspirational introduction from Kimberly, the stories shared by other consultants, and of course the preview of the Spring 2015 collection. I am looking forward to the next CAbi event and styling the Spring 2015 pieces. For the meantime, enjoy the photos of the CAbi consultants below who were all wearing CAbi Fall 2014 pieces at the event. I have also seen some pieces that they have just released. I will be styling some pieces here on the blog pretty soon, so stay tuned!
