About a week ago, tadalafil I had another chance to work with CAbi (Carol Anderson by Invitation) at their CAbi B.I.G. Event. If you've been following my blog for awhile, you might have seen a couple of event coverages before as well as styling some of their pieces. I love working with CAbi simply because, first of all, I love that they are empowering women in fashion and entrepreneurship, and secondly, I believe in their products. If you don't own any CAbi pieces in your closet, check out www.cabionline.com and find a consultant near you so you can check out the pieces in person. The materials are amazing and the quality is impeccable.
The CAbi B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Give) event took place last April 29, 2014 in several cities, including Houston. The event in Houston was hosted by a CAbi consultant in the area. About 53 fabulous women gathered in the Houston event that day and had I tell you, the room was filled with lots of energy and happiness! These women are mostly CAbi consultants and I love how they are so supportive of each other. I could see why the CAbi business model really works. It's all about relationships. It's all about Fashion, Friends, and Fun while building and maintaining financial stability to focus on what matters the most – Family. I know it seems a lot to take but these women are enjoying the CAbi life! This is my third time to cover an event and the atmosphere has always been the same, whether it's a small or a big event.
At the CAbi B.I.G, they showed a live stream of Lynne Coté, (COO), Kimberly Inskeep (Co-Founder), and the CAbi designers speaking from their studios in New York. The Kimberly Inskeep portion was my favorite one. She's always very inspirational and very positive. I remember her quoting at the event, "Everyone is a beautiful story. Don't get caught up in comparing yourself with others." And I think that is why these women are such a close knit group of people, you'd think all of them are BFF's!
CAbi products aren't sold anywhere or online on their website, however you can view always view the current collection. The business model is basically a "home shopping" party. I mean how fun is it to have a fashion party with some of your bestest girl friends? The photos below are just a glimpse of what happens in a CAbi home shopping party – of course, perhaps in a much smaller scale sometimes but I can guarantee that you will have tons of fun! Just look at all the big smiles these ladies have!
I must mention that some of these women have been a consultant (this is what they call someone who owns a CAbi business) for 9 years or more. They were able to support their family financially and do the things they love by owning a CAbi business.
