I don’t know about you but I’m tremendously enjoying Spring. I love everything about it – the weather, how bright the sun can get and how clear the skies can be. The wildflowers that grow even on the grasses in the middle of the highway. The travel that you can do. And of course, the fashion.
I love how flowery and free-flowing the clothing items can be. I also love the different prints, the colors that are very easy on the eyes, the comfy open shoes, and cute little bags you can carry with you. Spring and summer can be the trend-load seasons and it can do some serious damage in your wallet.
Speaking of trends, have you guys noticed a big trend in bags? We’ve had it a few springs ago but it was back this season and it seems bigger. First, it was straw tote bag with pompoms. But this time, straw bags in the form of totes, handbags, and shoulder bags. Some also come in rattan and seagrass. But it has the same feel. I have curated a few cute ones for you below.
Another trend that’s back is the espadrille wedges. And just like the straw bags, it seems to be bigger this time. I’ve also curated some for you below. I’m sure you’re familiar with the designer ones that are over $600 when it came out a couple of years ago. Thankfully, there have been a few dupes of that around already and it’s just as lovely.
Finally, how about this blue and white, high and low frock, ya’ll? High and lows aren’t really a trend but this wrap dress is pretty special. It’s also available in pink.
